アストロラーべを模したデザインのオブジェです。
当時のまま細部まで忠実に再現されたレプリカですので、
実用も可能です（取扱説明書は英語・スペイン語のみとなります）。

平面型の天体観測儀（アストロラーべ）は古代ギリシアにルーツがあり、
アラブ世界に継承されたものが中世ヨーロッパへと伝わりました。
太陽や月、星の位置を測る他、時間や目標物の高度を知る手段として、
多用途に使われていました。

木製の台座にセット出来るようになっており、
インテリアやディスプレイ用品にもおすすめです。

An ornamental piece designed in the style of an astrolabe. This replica faithfully reproduces the fine details of the original instruments and is fully functional (instructions available in English and Spanish only).

The flat astrolabe, an ancient astronomical instrument, traces its roots to ancient Greece, was passed down through the Arab world, and later introduced into medieval Europe. It was widely used to measure the positions of the sun, moon, and stars, as well as to determine time and the altitude of landmarks.

It can be mounted on a wooden stand, making it also suitable as an interior decoration or display item.
